ABOUT ME

Hello!, Welcome to my blog, My name is Athari, I am currently studying Media at Sengkurong Sixth Form Centre in Brunei.  I'm also studying Sociology and Travel and Tourism aside from Media. The purpose of me starting this blog is to document my progress throughout this coursework as well as learning how to use this platform.

The reason  I was driven to study Media in the first place was so I that I can learn the proper making of media products and to understand the message or purpose behind each media text being created, therefore, it can then help me create a media text that will have a positive influence for someone else in the future. This is also because at one point I realized how powerful the influence that the media have towards the society and how media are actually responsible in a way of shaping the society's ideology. Especially for me and my generation who grew up in  an era of ever evolving social technological media, the media had always been the most formative elements in my years of growing up.

 

 Media for me is a very beneficial subject to learn and I am passionate about it. I aim to excel in this subject.
